Para Dance UK Open Championships

The National Governing Body of Para Dance Sport runs a UK Open Para Dance Championship every year where atheletes from across the UK come together to showcase their skills, tricks and flair through this dancing event. Impetus Dance Coach the Welsh Para Dance Club who enter this event every year. 

In June 2019 the team came home with Gold in the Small Group Freestyle Dance and 2 Bronze, in the Adult Freestyle Combi Class 1 event and the Adult Freestyle Class 2 Duo event, and the winning prize for the Childrens Combi Freestyle Event. The team later went on to compete at the British Inclusive Dance Festival, gaining Gold and Silver in the Freestyle and Conventional Events. 

Since the start of the pandemic, some members of the Team have competed in the Rainbow Stars Online Competition gaining 2 Bronze in Contemporary & Freestyle as well as a 4th place in the Childrens Inclusive Catagory in Contemporary.
