Louise Bowman
Dance Director of Impetus Dance
Louise, married to Mark and mother of 2, is an HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist, IDTA Associate Ballroom Dance Teacher and a Para Dance Coach, with a passion and desire to provide inclusive dancing opportunties. Louise nurtures creativity and works with her dancers, adapting their environment and the dance, so that they can learn new skills, develop friendships and build on skills & confidence.
Robin Johns
Director & Volunteer Coordinator
Robin is a Director of the company sharing his life experiences and knowledge of Para DanceSport. Robin is an athlete in the sport himself and understands the key focal points on driving dance as part of disability sport in Wales. Robin works closely with partners in the volunteer sector and sporting industry to ensure all our volunteer workers are supported with the right training, and knowing that they are the drivers of our company and sport itself.
Mark Bowman
Director
Married to Louise, Mark is a Chartered Engineer and a Projects Manager by day. Mark understands the need to provide opportunities for those who are differently able. He has years of experience in project planning which enables Impetus Dance to grow and succeed.
Diane Carter
Volunteer Coach
Trained Coach, Dance Athlete and medallist, Diane has a variety of skills and life experiences to share. She knows how to work with dancers to improve their technique. Diane is an invaluable member of the team sharing her enthusiasm for the sport.
Emma Cook
Volunteer Secretary and Financial Officer
Experienced, trustworthy, fun. These are just a few of the ways we describe Emma. Full time Accountant Mum or 2 girls who love sport, Emma knows the importance of people feeling connected in a sporting organisation.
Vicki Atkins
Volunteer Welfare Officer
Mother of 2 and Registered Nurse, Vicki shows a passion to support her community. Vicki's caring and compasionate nature makes her an asset to our team and provides our dancers the reasurrance they require as our Welfar Officer.
Lucy Johnson
Volunteer Carers Officer
Lucy appreciates the invaluable support unpaid carers play in enabling our dancers to get to a class and reach their full potential. Lucy links in with local agencies and provides carers with a network of support ensuring they remain connected and supported at all times.
